According to reports, Michele Norsa, chief executive of Salvatore Ferragamo, Italy luxury goods group, said that the sales performance of Ferragamo group in February was considerable, thanks to the consumption of Chinese tourists during the Spring Festival, and the overall sales volume in 2015 is expected to increase in February.

Ferragamo group reported at the end of January that the group's revenue last year was expected to grow by 6%, to 1 billion 300 million euros (9 billion 100 million yuan), and to announce its 2014 fiscal year results in March 12th.

Norsa said that although the world is still suffering from threats such as Islamic extremism, the depreciation of the euro, low oil prices, the active financial markets and the ECB's bond buying plan will bring a good driving force to the 2015 sales prospects of the group.

"In the new year, sales growth is reasonable."

Norsa told reporters in an interview with Ferragamo 2015 autumn winter dress show.

He added, "sales in February are really impressive."

In fact, China's Spring Festival is a luxury for the world.

Consumption impact

It is very significant.

Italy luxury goods giant Prada (Prada) said Prada's sales in January were down sharply compared with the same period last year, because the Chinese New Year's Spring Festival is in February 19th and last year was January 31st.

This year's Spring Festival not only conveyed a large number of Chinese outbound tourists to Korea, Japan, Australia, the west coast of the United States, etc., but also included the birthplace of luxury goods, namely, Italy, including Europe. These areas were included in the "benefit" of Chinese tourists during the Spring Festival.

"Since last week, we have witnessed the endless consumption of Chinese tourists from all over the world."

Norsa sighed.

Sales in various stores have also been driven, including sales in Italy headquarters, and sales in the past ten days have increased significantly.

The devaluation of the euro may continue to lead Chinese tourists to travel to Europe, and Milan is coming to the 2015 international World Expo exhibition, and Italy will be the first stop for Chinese tourists in Europe.

Luxury goods

The market is a great opportunity.

Ferragamo, the most creative Italy shoe brand, has a high proportion of its duty-free shops in the airport.

According to chief executive Norsa, Ferragamo will expand about 10 duty-free shops in the next year, including Dubai, Helsinki and Quito.

And Ferragamo's new retail store is also planned to open in cities like Copenhagen, Berlin and New York.
